Kevin worked for 20 years in banking, the Bank of Nova Scotia in Saskatchewan, McLeod Credit Union in Fort McLeod, Alberta and Co-operative Trust Company in Saskatoon, Sk. In the last 10 years, he has held Controller roles in a number of public and private companies in Alberta and Saskatchewan. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Saskatchewan, is an Associate of the Credit Union Institute of Canada
(ACUIC). He recently obtained the designation of Public Business Accountant (PBA) and previously held the Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designations. Kevin and his team look for his church and has also served as Treasurer for Sustainable Foods Edmonton and Latitude 53. He is a member of the Chamber of Commerce in Sherwood Park and a member of the Canadian Federation of Independent Business, known as CFIB. Kevin has worked with “The Business Link” in helping to answer questions from new entrepreneurs as they start their business journey. Most recently Kevin was named to the PBA Society of Canada, www.pba-canada.org, committee responsible for the oversight of the Veriguide handbook, the accounting Practitioners’ Compilation handbook, www.veriguidestandards.ca
